Since the ENGEL SysDev GmbH has just started, an excerpt of previous projects from my work as an engineer follows.

Embedded OS

• Windows Embedded Compact 7/2013
  • Development of custom catalog components, corrections to BSPs and build of custom OS images.
  • Hardware platforms: Q7BT (E3815, MSC), QA3 (E3815, Congatec), QMX6 (i.MX6 Solo, Dual, DualLight, Quad, Congatec)
  • Porting of MFC applications from Windows CE 6 to WEC2013
• Windows Embedded Standard 7
  • Development of custom OS images with custom shell.
  • Hardware platforms: Q7-US15W-FD (Intel Atom Z530, MSC), Q7BT (E38xx, MSC)
  • Solution for production-oriented deployment.
• Yocto Projekt
  • Building OS images for i.MX6 (QMX6, Congatec; phyBOARD MIRA, Phytec) as well as for i.MX8M Mini (phyBOARD Polis, Phytec).
  • Usage of Docker for building the OS images.

User interfaces

• HMI development
  • Development of a HMI for an industrial marking and coding system (C#, WinForms).
  • Development of a monitoring tool as well as of a label editor (C#, WinForms).
  • Design and implementation of wizards for an intuitive system configuration (C++, MFC).

Marking and coding systems

• Development and maintenance of an industrial marking and coding system based on HP TIJ 2.5 cartridge technology.
• Experience with XAAR piezo print heads (XAAR 128) as well as deep knowledge of HP TIJ 2.5 technology.

Miscellaneous

• Diploma Thesis at the Fraunhofer Institut fuer Silicatforschung, Wuerzburg: „Development of a low-energy wireless sensor node for use in energy-autonomous sensor systems“ based on a self developed MSP430 (TI) platform.
• Small projects:
